ROCKWALL, TX – September 23, 2020 — Each year the Rockwall Breakfast Rotary Club provides coats for elementary school children in Rockwall. The Coats for Kids event is held each year in November at the Rockwall Old Navy store and coordinated between Rockwall Breakfast Rotary and the Administrators, Counselors and Teachers at Rockwall ISD.
Breakfast Rotary works toward this event each year and there are many smiles and happy faces on that day as the kids are able to pick out their own winter coats and leave with a balloon and a complimentary burrito from Chiloso’s.
As you make your way around the business community in Rockwall, keep an eye out for Breakfast Rotary’s collection jars located in many of the restaurants and other establishments. Your extra change, as well as folding money, goes to create those happy faces and warm coats.
Alongside the business community, the Rockwall Rotary also contributes to the Coats for Kids effort each year.
