ROYSE CITY, TX (Oct. 5, 2020) On Sunday, October 4, 2020, the Royse City Police Department received a call from a subject who claimed her daughter was grabbed by an unknown subject while she was walking along HWY 66 near County Line Road.
The victim reported around 5:30 PM on Sunday, she was walking in the grass along HWY 66 just west of County Line Road when a white male approached her from a wooded area. The victim stated the suspect grabbed and pulled at her but she was able to break away and run from the scene. The victim stated she believed the suspect may have been homeless due to his clothing being very dirty.
Officers responded to the area but they were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a white male, in his thirties to forties, around 5 foot 4 inches tall, thin build with an unkept brown mustache and beard. The subject was wearing a gray, zip-up style sweatshirt with a hood.
