Rockwall-Heath’s Blackhawk Robotics Chairman’s Team earns grant by L3 Harris Foundation

ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX – Oct. 15, 2020 – The Rockwall-Heath High School Blackhawk Robotics Chairman’s Team was recently awarded a grant by the L3 Harris Foundation.

Students Izzy Baumler, Grace Oliver and David Fadri spent the summer working on the application, and it paid off!

Thanks to their efforts, the team received a grant in the amount of $2,750 to support the RHHS robotics program and will be able seek additional funding as the season progresses.

These same students have also been volunteering with the Robotics Education Foundation and helped plan and host the first ever virtual VEX robotics tournament for elementary school students which took place recently.
