Women in Need to host 8th Annual Chocolate Indulgence on Valentine’s Weekend

Sponsorships available as Women in Need hosts its 8th Annual Chocolate Indulgence event on Valentine’s weekend, benefiting victims and survivors of domestic abuse

ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 12, 2021 – As many of you know, intimate partner violence is still a big problem, and particularly with everyone being shut-in this past year. Sadly, we continue to see about 1 in 4 women and nearly 1 in 7 men in our area experience sexual violence, physical violence, and/or stalking by an intimate partner. Thankfully, Women In Need is here to help as we continue to offer our services free of charge as a response to this important community issue. WIN services include providing prevention education, emergency shelter, crisis intervention, legal advocacy, individual and group counseling, case management, and referrals.  WIN works to create a safer reality for survivors and our community.  As an important member of this community, would you please consider partnering with us once again in this important work?

Please note that due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year, our annual Chocolate Indulgence Event will be conducted virtually, on Valentine’s Weekend.  There are several ways for you to still participate and get that Special Someone the perfect Valentine’s Gift.
