ROCKWALL, TX – March 18, 2021 – Children’s Relief International, a faith-based 501c3 located in Rockwall that provides care, aid and relief to widows, orphans, children and families in deep poverty around the world, will host its 12th Annual Green Door 5K, 10K and 1-Mile Fun Run from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24 at Harry Myers Park.
The funds raised via the race go to build sustainable housing (Green Door Homes) for those in need within the reach of CRI partnerships in Malawi, Uganda, Mozambique and Mexico.
For those who are unable to race in-person, they will also have a virtual race. Between Saturday, April 24 and May 8, 2021, racers can run or walk a mile, 5K, or 10K on their own—or at the same time as family and friends—and record their times.
Whether you’re in it to compete or just to get outside, your registration fee will benefit Children’s Relief International’s Green Door Project. The 12th annual race goal is 10,000 blocks/20 homes.
Our print edition is delivered free to ~15,500 homes in Rockwall and Heath, TX.
