ROCKWALL, TX – March 26, 2021 – Empower 7 is thrilled to announce the receipt of a generous donation of hygiene supplies from Skyline Juniors, www.skylinejuniors.com.
During the North Texas Invitationals, Skyline Juniors hosted a box drive to collect hygiene items for Empower 7’s Project Self Esteem. Together, the teams collected over 4,500 hygiene items to support at-risk teens in North Texas. Because of their generosity, more than 200 kids will be blessed with hygiene kits.
Project Self Esteem provides at-risk teens with the resources they need to feel good about themselves, so they can focus on their education. If you or anyone you know would like to host a box drive for Empower 7’s Project Self Esteem, please e-mail Melanie Cobb at melanie@empower7.org.
Founded in 2018, Empower 7 is a Christian, faith-based organization created for the sole purpose of empowering the lives of vulnerable, at-risk youth in North Texas. Critical to the Empower 7 vision and mission, The Empower 7 Ranch will provide a safe, serene home for youth whose need for care and treatment cannot be met safely and effectively by their families or in a traditional foster family setting. The goal for The Ranch is to provide residential, educational and community services to ensure youth are prepared for adulthood, form healthy connections with society, and know God’s love and grace. While faithfully planning for The Ranch, Empower 7 is working to close the gaps that prevent youth from thriving through their Blessings & Growth Programs, which addresses the immediate or emergency needs of vulnerable, at-risk youth while providing them with learning experiences to shape their future.
