Employers to be recognized for making work ‘work’

(Dallas) Changing times are proving to be catalysts for changes in the workplace, and perhaps no one knows that better than members of the Dallas Regional Chamber.

Join them from noon to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 at the Adolphus Hotel as they present the Alfred P. Sloan Awards for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility. The prestigious, national award program recognizes exemplary employers that use flexibility as a talent management tool. The Dallas Regional Chamber, a local partner in the program, explains that the award honors employers that achieve balance between productivity and their most important asset, human capital.

Keynote speakers for the event include Harold MacDowell, Chief Executive Officer of TD Industries, and Maureen Underwood, Senior VP of the People Department. They will discuss what workplace flexibility means to leading U.S.corporations and how it can boost a company’s bottom line.
