(Dallas) More than 3,500 runners are expected to race in the Dallas Arboretum’s sixth annual Tour des Fleurs Saturday, Sept. 17.
The 10K/20K race takes place at White Rock Lake and finishes with a post-race party featuring LIVE 80 – the Ultimate 80s Experience, on the Martin Rutchik Concert Lawn. Dozens of local restaurants will be onsite, serving up post-race food and refreshments. Massage therapists will also be on hand.
Family walk features fairytale castles
Join Good Morning Texas host Amy Vanderoef and her family, along with other community leaders and their children, as they support the Dallas Arboretum with a slower-paced, family walk on the same day as Tour des Fleurs.
The Lennox International’s Walk in the Garden begins at 8:15 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 and follows a one-half mile route adorned with fairytale castles, clowns and costumed characters. Families will enjoy special treats and surprises, photo opps and a tour of PumpkinVillage.
