(Rockwall) Auditions for the Rockwall Community Playhouse’s production of “Annie” will be Saturday, Oct. 15 at 10 a.m. for “orphans” only; 1 p.m. for adults and teens; and at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16 for all ages, at RCP, 609 E. Rusk St.
All roles are available: seven girls (ages 6 to 13) and about 30 adults (ages 16 to 101). Bring a head shot, resume and sheet music, and be prepared to sing 16 bars (up tempo preferred; an accompanist will be provided; no a cappella or taped accompaniment.) Come dressed to move and be prepared to sing, dance and act. Rehearsals start Monday, Oct. 17.
The show will be directed by Darlene Singleton, assited by Sue Crenshaw, Laura Tate, Madeline Percin, and Felicia Sykes. Performances will be Nov. 25, 26, 27 and Dec. 2, 3, 4, 9, 10 and 11.
