(Frisco) Come out to Frisco Square Saturday, Dec. 31 to enjoy a New Year’s Eve Skating Spectacular at 6 p.m., followed by a public skate until 10 p.m.

The free show will include skaters from the local area with regional, sectional, and junior national championship experience, as well as a few who are national and international champs and medalists.

The performers are skating to holiday music favorites and performing entertaining routines to delight Frisco Square’s New Year’s Eve visitors. There is limited seating available on bleachers near the rink; be sure to arrive early to ensure a place to sit.

Daily ice skating is available under the lights and music of Christmas in the Square M-F, 2 – 10 p.m. and Sat-Sun, 12 – 10 p.m. with a cost of $10 per person, including skate rentals.

The Lights on Ice outdoor skating rink is open through Sunday, Jan. 8 and is sponsored by Sooner Management, LLC.

Frisco Square is a pedestrian-friendly, urban experience that blends shopping, dining, office space, apartment living, lofts, park space and Frisco’s City Hall and library.
