Frisco Square, NBC5, and the City of Frisco present the sixth annual Christmas in the Square, featuring Parachuting Santa, outdoor ice skating, carriage rides, an innter-tubing snow slide and the largest choreographed holiday lights and music show in North Texas.
With 500,000 visitors annually, families, friends and holiday guests from throughout north Texas, the DFW Metroplex and southern Oklahoma come out to enjoy the spectacular show.
On Dec. 9, 10, 16 and 17, enjoy family-friendly favorites such as the model train display, horse drawn carriage rides sponsored by Collin Bank and iBuildSocial, Humvee rides provided by Operation Once in a Lifetime, and the ever popular Trackless Train.
The always popular Parachuting Santa and his elves, sponsored by Babe’s Chicken Dinner House, also returns along with the 3 lane inner-tubing snow slide, hot air balloon glow, visits with Santa, sponsored by Thyssenkrupp, a special surprise event and more.
For the first time in more than 10 years in the DFW Metro area, outdoor, daily ice skating is available in Frisco Square. Sooner Management LLC presents Lights on Ice Outdoor Ice Rink, don’t miss this chance to ice skate during this festive holiday extravaganza called Christmas in the Square. The ice skating cost is $10 per person, per day, including skate rentals and reservations for the ice rink for private events runs $200 per hour.
