Enjoy a weekend under the stars while supporting Locks of Love and the Point Fire Department at the Big Wampum Art and Music Festival 2012, coming to Three Creeks Ranch in Point, Texas the weekend of April 20.
The three-day festival includes acoustic music Friday night with Abraham Mellish Jr, Guthrie Kennard, Michael Dimitri, and Rusty Burns.
Electric bands will begin Saturday at noon, and include Rodeo Clown Dropouts, Pearl Street Riot, Blackhorse, Michal Lee Band, Alan Fox Band, Dazed, Krash Rover, Rusty Burns and Big Wampum.
There will also be a Music and Sports Memorabilia Auction. Primitive camping, VIP camping available; RV space at $1 per foot.
“Our mission is to help put hairpieces on the heads of children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment,” festival organizers said.
Tickets are $15 and two cans of food, which go to the Point Fire Department. Children 12 and under are free.
