Heights Car Show to benefit Network Food Pantry

(Richardson) The Heights Baptist Church will host its fifth annual Car Show from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 21, sponsored by Crest Cadillac and Infiniti of Plano.

Last year’s show featured 218 entries in more than 20 classes and raised more than $4,000 in cash and 600 canned goods for charity. The show is open to the public, and spectator admission is free.

“Last year we had everything from Ferraris and Lamborghinis to classic muscle cars and Roadsters,” said Brian Ratcliff, one of the event organizers. “For its size, it offers one of the broadest range of cars you’ll find at one show. And the trophies are first class. Once again this year, we’ll welcome back Ken Savage & the Best Kept Secret Band to perform live classic rock music. We’ll also be selling Chick-Fil-A sandwiches and Dickey’s barbecue.”

Show car registration is open up to 1:30 p.m. the day of the event and is only $15 per entry or 15 canned food items. Proceeds will benefit the Network Food Pantry of Richardson.
