Lake Pointe Cancer Center offers Survivorship Program

You may be asking yourself, ‘When do you become a cancer survivor?”

According to the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship, survivorship begins at the time of diagnosis and continues for the remainder of your life. Our goal at the Lake Pointe Cancer Center is to provide you with information and support needed to ensure your quality of life throughout treatment and beyond.

Lake Pointe Cancer Center will offer a FREE six week program to support you along your journey to a healthier you.

The program will consist of Tuesday support group meetings covering various topics to include nutrition, exercise, stress management, and finances.  The Thursday night session will incorporate an exercise class at the Rowlett Community Center.

Program kick-off meeting will be at 5 p.m. Thursday, March 22 at the Cancer Center, 7501 Lakeview Parkway, Rowlett, 75088.  At this meeting, there will be an overview of the Survivorship Program and time to answer questions.

If you or someone you know are interested in participating in our six week Survivorship Program, or would like more information, call 972-526-7555, by March 14 to reserve a spot.
