Business women in Garland, Rowlett, Sachse and across Dallas-Fort Worth are invited to take part in The Women’s Business E-nitiative Empowerment Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 18 at the Hyatt Place Dallas, located at 5101 N. George Bush Freeway in Garland.
“E-nitiative” events are designed to enrich, engage and empower working women throughout the community. The April 18 luncheon will feature guest speaker, Jan Watson, president of LiquidMedia, speaking on “The Powerful Act of Coaching.” Participants will learn how to transform from performance-based reviewing to coaching, to meet management needs of a multi-generational workforce.
The luncheon is sponsored by Solis Women’s Health, and will be followed by additional Empowerment Luncheons on June 20, August 14, and October 17. Also, mark your calendar now for the Women’s Business E-nitiative 6th Annual Holiday Extravaganza on Nov. 15.
The Women’s Business E-nitiative is under the umbrella of the Garland Chamber of Commerce, but its events are not exclusive to Chamber members.
