Daughters of the American Revolution Board holds planning session

(Rockwall) June 18, 2012 – The Rock Wall Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution Board met June 14 in the home of Regent Peggy Atterberry to discuss the chapter’s service work, community involvement, and upcoming DAR events.

The chapter will host a reception for naturalized citizens of Rockwall County at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 30 at the Rockwall County Library. The new citizens and their teachers will be honored at this event.

Additionally, the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) will also be in attendance. The Harmony Singers will perform special music.

DAR promotes patriotism, education and historic preservation.
