Timpa Law Office presents Rockwall ISD’s 2012 New Teacher/Employee Breakfast

(Rockwall ISD) July 25, 2012 – On Friday, August 17, approximately 75 new teachers and employees joining the Rockwall ISD will gather with area business leaders and citizens to kick off the new school year. The New Teacher/Employee Breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. at Rockwall High School, 901 Yellow Jacket Lane.
“We are pleased to once again partner with the RISD to welcome their new teachers and employees,” said Rockwall Area Chamber president Dana Macalik. “They will play an important role in our children’s lives, and the community. This is a great way to introduce them to Rockwall.”
The event is open to the public, with reservations; the cost is $8 pre-sale/$10 at the door including a full breakfast. Seating is limited, and officials expect another sell-out this year. Those wishing to attend should RSVP by calling the Chamber offices at 972-771-5733.
The event will begin at 7:30 AM with a traditional ‘Country Breakfast’, followed by a short program from RISD superintendent Jeff Bailey and other school, community and chamber officials. Rockwall Mayor David Sweet will speak briefly and Congressman Ralph Hall will welcome the new RISD employees.
