Raising Cane’s social media campaign will give away thousands of fingers on July 27
(Dallas) July 18, 2012 – It’s not every day you can get a smile back after you give your friends the finger. But not every day is National Chicken Finger Day either, and Raising Cane’s is encouraging its loyal customers to celebrate the occasion by sharing their ONE LOVE® with friends near and far.
Baton Rouge-based Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers – one of the nation’s fastest growing and most successful restaurant companies – will give away one free chicken finger to each of its Caniac Club members, as well as to other customers that print off an online certificate, on July 27th – National Chicken Finger Day.
“This is a day when we say ‘thank you’ to all of our most loyal customers – our Caniacs – for their steadfast support of our restaurant,” said Todd Graves, founder and CEO of Raising Cane’s. “It’s also an opportunity for us to introduce ourselves to a new wave of customers that haven’t yet experienced our ONE LOVE: quality chicken finger meals.”
Caniac Club members enrolled by July 25th will automatically receive a credit for one free chicken finger on their membership cards, good only on July 27th. Other customers must print out and bring in a free chicken finger certificate available on Raising Cane’s web site, Facebook page. The certificates are also valid one day only: July 27, 2012.
Hundreds of thousands of people will be reached through the company’stongue-in-cheek “Give Your Friends the Finger” campaign, which will launch Friday, July 20th, via Facebook. Cane’s social media followers will receive the free chicken finger offer from the company, which they can then pass along to their Facebook friends.
“We have more than 250,000 Facebook friends, so we’re excited about giving them a free chicken finger and inviting them to share one with their friends in celebration of National Chicken Finger Day,” said Graves. “After all, who wouldn’t love a free chicken finger?”
