Firehouse Subs celebrates with ribbon cutting

(Rockwall) August 24, 2012 – The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting yesterday for Firehouse Subs, located at 1067 E. Interstate 30, Suite 107, in Rockwall.

Founded by former firefighting brothers Chris and Robin Sorensen, Firehouse Subs began in 1994 with one restaurant in Jacksonville, Fla. Now 18 years later, the company has spread like wildfire with more than 500 locations across 32 states and one U.S. territory (Puerto Rico).

Specializing in hot subs, Firehouse Subs serves large portions of premium meats and Sargento cheeses, “steamed” hot and placed atop fresh produce on a toasted sub roll. Each restaurant offers a family-oriented dining atmosphere, complete with an authentic firefighter theme that celebrates local firefighting history, as well as the founding family’s 200 years of firefighting service.

Stop by and say hello to franchise owner Ken Lee, or give Firehouse Subs Rockwall a call at 972.722.FIRE (3473). Visit Firehouse Subs on the web or on facebook.
