(Wylie) August 24, 2012 – Wylie Acting Group for Children will present the classic children’s story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at 7 p.m. Friday, August 24 and at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, August 25 in the Wylie East High School auditorium, 3000 Wylie East Drive.
The show is directed by Tom Barlow. It is sponsored in part by Wylie Gold & Silver.
Tickets are $7 for ages 18 and up; $5 for ages 4 to 17; and free for children 3 and under. Discounts apply to advance purchases at wagforchildren.org.
The gates of Willy Wonka’s famous chocolate factory are opening at last — and only five children will be allowed inside. WAG and its dedicated band of thespians have been working all summer on bringing the wonders of Wonka’s factory to life and they invite children of all ages to join them on this magical journey! Come celebrate the end of summer with one last memorable outing before the first bell of the school year rings.
The Wylie Acting Group for Children is a nonprofit community theatre dedicated to producing works for children, by children, at no cost to the participants. Founded in 2010, WAG is currently in its third season.
