Jones students discover different way to get around

(Rockwall ISD) September 25, 2012 – A group of second grade students at  Jones Elementary recently learned a new way to get around- thanks to modern day technology!

These students were able to find their way around the library by integrating an iPad with an old-fashioned paper map. They were able to map the library and find their way around.  One student commented, “I did not know that there were different parts of the library.”

This integration lesson using an iPad has opened the eyes of these students.  They’ve learned that the iPad’s capablilities go beyond just games, but can also be just as fun.
