Chamber welcomes Marigold Learning Academy

(Rockwall – November 20, 2012) The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce welcomes the first school in Rockwall for Autism. The Marigold Learning Academy specializes in Autism and related disabilities for students’ ages 2.5 to 7 years old. They are located north of Historical Downtown Rockwall, at 502 N. Goliad.

Marigold believes in empowering a lifelong fascination with learning, where children can experience the thrill of success and the opportunity to shine in all they do. The program accommodates the uniqueness of each child by providing an all inclusive education program, incorporating one location to meet all of their educational and therapy needs.

The Academy is based on the Applied Behavior Analysis Theory, Picture Exchange Communication System, as well as the Floor-Time approach. The goal is to offer all children an individualized experience that will help them develop socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically at their own rate.
