Forney is the place to be to celebrate the season
(Forney – November 20, 2012) The 9th Annual Forney Hometown Christmas will feature a Christmas parade, live music and ongoing performances on two stages, a pie-eating competition, ice skating rink, a 70-foot drop Zipping Line Ride, a 12-seat swinging pirate ship, and Zooniversity Exotic Animal Shows. More than a dozen different food vendors and restaurants will be on hand, along with 80 retail and craft booths.
The event begins with the parade at 9 a.m. and runs through 5 p.m. on Main Street in Downtown Forney.
Entertainment includes the Forney High School Chamber Choir, Rhea Choir, Henderson Choir, Children’s Choir of St Martin’s Catholic Church, The Blackburn Music Maker’s Honors Choir, Warren Middle School Choir and many others.
