(Rockwall ISD November 14, 2012) Jones Elementary hosted its first ever “Bring Your Dad To School” morning on Oct. 31.
It was a huge success, with 241 Dads attending to show their support for their children and the school.
Dads spent time with their students at breakfast and then later in their classrooms. Dads also had the opportunity to meet and spend 45 minutes with Mike Hall, president of StrongFathers.com.
Hall shared how to support their child’s academic progress and the importance of a father’s involvement in academics.
Jones Elementary plans to make “Bring Your Dads To School” an annual tradition.
