(November 7, 2012) Lake Pointe Health Network celebrated 163 years of combined volunteer service with a Mexican fiesta-themed Hats Off to Volunteers on October 24.
Volunteers and guests included family members and friends along with executive, administrative and hospital staff. Long standing volunteer, Charlene Schwaneke, celebrated 25 years of contribution and service to LakePointe and was honored with special recognition.
“This annual event and special day gives LakePointe the opportunity to express our gratitude for the many hours of service to our patients and staff. We can’t thank our volunteers enough for the love, service and dedication they give on a daily basis,” said Sharon Talty, Volunteer Coordinator for the Lake Pointe Health Network.
