(ROCKWALL-January 25, 2013) One hundred and sixty moms and daughters from Lake Pointe Church’s Student Ministry came together January 13 for a painting session sponsored by Art’s A Blast.
The event served as a unique and creative way for the high school and middle school students to kick off their new year of Bible study.
The moms and daughters painted a tree, to which they will add a red apple each time a Bible lesson is completed.
“It was very successful and it was a genius idea to kick off their new year! Jana Hake led the day with her awesome teaching skills! She’s definitely a rock star in the Rockwall art world, and an important part of Lake Pointe Church,” said Shay Cronin, owner of Art’s A Blast.
Located in the Stein Mart Shopping Center on Ridge Road in Rockwall, Art’s A Blast offers adults-only evening sessions, daytime and after school classes for children, private lessons and private parties. It’s great for birthday celebrations and bachelorette parties, corporate functions and team building activities.
