Rockwall City Council member Michelle Smith not to seek second term

A personal message from Michelle Smith

(ROCKWALL-January 31, 2013) It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the citizens of Rockwall for the past two years.

With much prayer, I have made a decision not to seek a second term. My heart and my passion are to serve in the public policy arena. I will continue to serve you on the state and national level but just in a different capacity.

My desire is to influence our culture and bring it back to our Judeo- Christian roots. I have decided to accept the position as Associate State Director for Concerned Women for America of Texas.

Concerned Women for America is the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization with a rich 32-year history of helping our members across the country bring Biblical principles into all levels of public policy.

I thank you for the privilege it has been to serve you, and I covet your prayers in this new chapter. I am always available if you need anything.
