(ADDISON-February 8, 2013) Dads Day at Trinity Christian Academy in Addison is a time where fathers of fourth graders join their students for lunch, learning and fellowship in the classroom.
Each student has the opportunity to show off to their dad and display their recent projects, accomplishments, works of art and more.
The students also introduce their dads to the class, and then each father takes the time to give a brief speech about their child, sharing special memories and positive character qualities they see growing in their son or daughter.
Dads Day is designed to be a special memory for dads and their kids, in addition, to a great time of affirmation for students to hear their fathers speaking about them publicly to their peers.
