(ROCKWALL-February 12, 2013) Rockwall Women’s League is now accepting grant requests from non-profit agencies that provide services to the Rockwall County community. The deadline for submission is April 1, 2013.
Proceeds from Rockwall Women’s League’s annual fundraising charity ball will be used to provide grants to area not for profit organizations and scholarships for Rockwall County high school seniors. Last year, RWL awarded $22,200 to area organizations and $50,000 in scholarships.
This year’s charity ball, “Under The Big Top,” will be held April 20th at The Fairmont Hotel in Dallas. To contribute or attend, contact Christy Kirk at 972-742-9752 or christy@dallasflooranddesign.com.
Grant requests should include the following details:
- Program name
- 501(c)3 Identification number
- Program description
- Program beneficiaries
- Amount requested
Grant requests should be submitted in writing and mailed to: P.O. Box 383, Rockwall, TX 75087, Attention: Joey Grand-Lienard. You may contact Joey at 972-800-7724 with questions related to grants.
