Robert Post brings one-man variety show to town

MusicFest Entertainment Series welcomes ‘brilliant’ comedy to the stage

Comedian Robert Post

(ROCKWALL-March 12, 2013) On Monday, March 18, comedian Robert Post will bring his one-man variety show to town as part of Rockwall MusicFest’s 2013 Entertainment Series.

Post’s act is inspired by his Italian grandmother (who sang at danced at nearly every family occasion, including funerals) – and by Vaudeville, juggling, and specialty acts featured on the Ed Sullivan Show.

Ruth Peck, co-founder of Rockwall MusicFest and the Greater Rockwall Philharmonic Orchestra.

“There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Robert is,” said Ruth Peck, MusicFest co-founder. “He’s brilliant, crazy, funny – phenomenal! You may have seen him on the Today Show; now you can experience his show in person.”

Peck is also a big fan of VoicePlay (formerly 42Five), “an instrumental band with no instruments.” The award-winning a capella quintet closes out the Entertainment Series on Thursday, May 9.
