Local students earn DAR Good Citizenship Awards

(ROCKWALL-March 9, 2013) Several local students were recently honored with Good Citizenship Awards by the Rockwall Wall Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.

The awards were presented by Margaret Davidson and Linda Smith during an Awards Presentation Tea at the home of Carolyn Duckworth on March 3.

American History Award Winners: Cassidy Clarke and Nathan Mateer of Heritage Christian Academy

The Daughters of the American Revolution, founded in 1890, is a service organization dedicated to service to the nation.

The DAR Good Citizen Awardsare given to outstanding members of the senior class in public and private high schools.
