Bucket Ride to Galveston Island pays tribute to Chef Paul

(May 4, 2013) Join Chef Paul’s Bucket Ride to Galveston Island, featuring a volleyball tournament, bike games and a Best Show Bike contest.

Bring tents and sleeping bags and enjoy music, camping and a bonfire while fighting back against pancreatic cancer.

The Bucket Ride will run Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2. Kick stands up at 10 a.m. at Dallas Harley Davidson, at Centerville and 635. The event honors Chef Paul Jordan, who recently lost his battle with pancreatic cancer. Paul Henry Jordan was Chef at Gaido’s Restaurant and later at Hotel Galvez in Galveston.

The cost is $20 per vehicle and $10 per passenger. Participants will receive a Bucket Ride Patch.
