Celebrating Public Works in Rockwall

(ROCKWALL-May 23, 2013) Rockwall Mayor David Sweet recently presented a proclamation to the city’s Public Works Department declaring the week of May 19-25 as National Public Works Week. The Public Works Department, under the direction Tim Tumulty, is an integral part of residents’ everyday lives affecting health, safety and comfort.

Department employees provide and maintain the infrastructure and services that include the city’s water, wastewater, and storm drainage systems as well as streets and alleys. The department also provides planning, design and construction of those services.
