(DALLAS-May 6, 2013) Shoreline Dallas Church will host a benefit car wash and garage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 11.
The “Suds for Surgery” Car Wash will raise money for church member Shkelqim Kelmendi, an SMU student whose younger sister has undergone four surgeries for a brain tumor. Mergimtare Kelmendi (“Megi”) is 13 years old.
“Shkelqim is a hard-working, smart and kind soon-to-be-graduate, but unfortunately will be responsible for all debt from the surgeries,” said Carissa Grisham with Southern Methodist University.
A garage sale will be held at the same time and location to help send a family from the church to India on a missions trip. They will be providing medical aid to children there.
Shoreline Dallas Church is located at 6800 Town North Drive, on the corner of Northwest Highway and Town North Drive.
