(Rockwall) June 23, 2013 – Aspasians recently celebrated their 40th anniversary at the home of Sharon Huston.
The philanthropic organization for Rockwall County women hosts a bi-annual fair which enables them to award over 40,000 dollars in scholarships to Rockwall and Rockwall-Heath high school seniors each year.
Aspasians Fall Art Fair
The very first art fair was created to raise money for scholarships and showcased crafts made by the Aspsians themselves. That first show raised $100 and the Aspasians were thrilled!
Over the years, the Aspasians Art Fair has blossomed and each spring and fall over 200 vendors can be found at the fair showcasing everything from jewelry and gifts to food, fine art, handmade items and vintage decor.
All proceeds from vendor booth rentals go to providing scholarships for Rockwall and Rockwall-Heath graduating Seniors.
