Ribbon cutting for Heavenly Hands Birthing Center

(Rockwall) July 26, 2013 – The Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for Heavenly Hands Birthing Center in Rockwall.

Heavenly Hands first opened in 2010, seeking to serve expectant mothers. They quickly outgrew their building, inspiring them to transform the James W. Reese House, a historic and iconic home in the area, into Heavenly Hands’ newest location at 908 N Goliad St.

With a tremendous amount of renovations, and hours of dedication and investment of immeasurable resources, Heavenly Hands is proud to announce the opening of its new location. Several new lives have already been brought into the world there with the help of Heavenly Hands owner, CPM and Licensed Midwife, Tina Rowe.

Heavenly Hands offers complete prenatal, childbirth, postpartum, and newborn services to those looking for an alternative to the hospital birthing experience.

“Serving mothers since 1994 as a doula and midwife, it is my honor to empower families to experience natural childbirth in a warm loving environment,” writes Tina on her website.

“I believe in a woman’s body to deliver a baby naturally and safely in the setting of her choice. I have a birthing center in Rockwall and also attend home births. I am a Christian and for those who share my faith, I love to bring prayer and praise to the birth I am invited to assist. As my midwife taught me years ago, if a woman is allowed to make her own healthcare choices, most births can be a beautiful and non-invasive celebration of life!”
