(ROCKWALL COUNTY – October 21, 2013) Join the community in honoring our local heroes at a Veterans Day Program beginning at 4:30 p.m. Monday, November 11 at the Rockwall County Veterans Memorial (located at the Rockwall County Government Center).
County Judge Jerry Hogan will serve as Master of Ceremonies, honoring WWII veterans.
The keynote speaker will be Major General James L. Williams, USMC (retired).
The Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard will post the colors.
Enjoy patriotic music by the Rockwall High School Band, with Chris Kosterman directing.
The Veterans Day Program Committee members include Lee Gilbert; Chair & American Legion; Barbara Allan, Community Leader; Gene Allen, Commander of Tri-County Veterans Honor Guard; Terry Garrett, Community Leader; Lorie Grinnan, County Commissioner; and Jerry Hogan, Rockwall County Judge.
