These new COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES will be working in conjunction with the District Courts and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Child Protective Services System. The volunteers are trained to represent the best interest of the children in the court system. The goal of the CASA program is to ensure that a child’s right to a safe, permanent home is acted on by the court in a sensitive and swift manner. Lone Star CASA serves Rockwall and Kaufman Counties.
