ROCKWALL (November 18, 2013) The Rockwall High School Jacket Backers Booster Club has scheduled a series of activities surrounding the 2013 Rockwall Yellowjacket football team and their Bi-District victory over Naaman Forest. The Jackets have advanced to the Area Championship game and will take on Dallas Jesuit at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 23 at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas.
Tickets are available at RHS on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 am to 4 pm and on Friday from 8 am until noon. Tickets are also available at the RISD Athletic Office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8 am to 11:30 am and from 1 pm to 4 pm. A playoff pep rally is scheduled for Friday, November 22 at 12:45 pm at the RHS Gymnasium and all Yellowjacket fans are encouraged to attend.
Official Yellowjacket Playoff Shirt orders will be delivered on Friday at the school. Rally Towels, compliments of Joe Wimpee Farmer’s Insurance Agency, will be distributed at the game on Saturday.
On Saturday, November 23 at 9 am there will be a Fan Rally and Team Send-off at the high school. Fans are encouraged to arrive early, wear their orange, bring their noisemakers and give the team a rousing send-off as they depart for the game.
