ROCKWALL (February 25, 2014) The JER Chilton YMCA Adventure Guides program is in full swing, after wrapping up a successful Father/Daughter Sweetheart Dance at Southfork Ranch, and a Father/Son Bowling Outing last week at Shenaniganz in Rockwall. These are just two of many activities that local dads and their kids are enjoying as Adventure Guides/Princesses.
Through outdoor adventures, special events and “Circle” activities, the YMCA’s Adventure Guide program builds lifelong memories and strengthens bonds between fathers and their sons or daughters. Children in grades K through four can participate.
There’s still time to catch all the action ahead on the Spring Schedule, which includes Derby Day on March 23 (pinewood derby racing action), Rocket Day on April 13 (where dads and kids build and shoot rockets) and the much-anticipated spring campout May 16 at Sky Ranch.
