ROCKWALL, TX (May 13, 2014) In the aftermath of a loved one’s death, family members left on the bewildering journey of grief are often experience fatigue, emotional upheaval, and meaningful questions about life and faith. Faith & Grief Ministries offers a 6-week workshop that provides a safe venue to wrestle with the dynamics of grief and to experience measures of comfort and encouragement. Men and women will experience comfort through scripture and spiritual practices, along with hope and encouragement from others on similar journeys. One recent participant reflected, “I cannot put my finger on it but it helped me SO much. I feel like my burden of grief has been lifted and lessened. It was grueling and wonderful. It was actually kind of miraculous!”
The Faith & Grief Ministries workshop will be held at First Presbyterian Church-Rockwall, located at 602 White Hills Drive, 75087. Meetings will be held on Thursdays from 10 AM to 12 noon and will begin June 12, 2014. The cost for the entire six weeks is $25. Scholarships are available.
