Rockwall Jackets Spring Swarm Food Drive is victory for Helping Hands food pantry

ROCKWALL, TX (May 31, 2014) Jacket football players helped collect more than 3,000 canned food donations and more than $1,500 in the recent Rockwall High School Spring Swarm Football Game Food Drive.

The donations will help fill the shelves at the Rockwall County Helping Hands food pantry.

Ty Thomas and Will Morris kick off food collection at the Spring Swarm game.

The football players also went door-to-door collecting canned goods and boxed food donations prior to the Spring Swarm game.

Continued donations are welcome at Helping Hands.
