ROCKWALL, TX (August 16, 2014) The Rockwall County Newcomers & Friends Club recently elected officers for 2014-15. Join them at the first luncheon meeting of the new year on Thursday, September 11 at Occasions at Stone River in Royse City.
Officers are: President Jean Lakner, 1st Vice President/Programs Kathy Weintraub, 2nd Vice President/Membership Judy Buffington, Treasurer Ann Maas, and Secretary Jo Anderson.
Rockwall County Newcomers & Friends Club formed more than 35 years ago, and welcomes those who live in Rockwall County to be part of this social organization that currently comprises more than 200 local ladies.

The club is open to new residents as well as long time residents. The club has groups that meet for bunco, book club, gardening, art, canasta and mah-jongg – just to name a few.
