ROCKWALL,TX. (December 3, 2014) Fifth Graders brought the Colonial Era and America’s first Free Enterprise System to life for parents and community to tour. Students began the evening by singing songs on the town square then opened their shops for business as they talked about their trade in the first person. The students wore period costumes and sold the wares that they had made to their customers.

The most exciting thing about Colonial Night was that we really got to get into character with English accents. The people asked us questions that they didn’t know and we had to answer them. It was a really great learning experience.” (Zachary Wood)
