ROCKWALL, TX (Jan. 29, 2015) Effective 2015, Aspasians has chosen to open up our scholarship applications to any high school senior residing in Rockwall County.
The Aspasisans will continue to offer the Blake Finnell Memorial scholarship to a Rockwall High School senior and the Chad Leeuw scholarship to a Rockwall Heath High School senior. In addition, based on funding, they will offer one or two scholarships at large.
Completed applications (with required verification forms) are due no later than March 20th, 2015. All applications will be reviewed and preliminarily selected seniors will be called in for a face-to-face interview before final scholarships are awarded. Scholarships will be announced at each respective High School’s award ceremony.
The Aspasians are a group of ladies from the Rockwall County community united for the purpose of friendship and service to others. For over 40 years they have hosted the Aspasians Arts and Crafts Fair. To date the Aspasians have raised and donated hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarship money, helping local high school seniors achieve their dream of going to college.
