ROCKWALL, TX (March 6, 2015) In the fall of 2013, the Rockwall Old Town Shoppes started a new monthly event to accommodate late night shopping. It is called Night Owls, Shop Late Till 8! It was launched in October of 2013. The event is held monthly on the 2nd Thursday. Customers and regular shoppers of downtown have received it with open arms. The retail shops on the square keep their doors open till8 pm. Many offer refreshments and door prize drawings, along with special discounts. Live music was added spring of 2014. New for 2015 is each month is a different theme.
Keep your eyes open for the owl’s downtown. Each store has decorated an owl to represent their store. You can see the owls out in front of the stores the day of the Night Owls event, the 2nd Thursday of each month. Come downtown to dine, Shop Late Till 8, enjoy live music and have fun!
The next Night Owls, Shop Late Till 8 is Thursday, March 12th. Strings & Pipes will be performing live in the Plaza. The live music will be along the theme of Irish/Celtic to fit with the St. Patty’s day theme. In addition, there will be 4 Celtic dancers performing.

April 9th, Theme: Tax Month, Save the Tax on Your purchase
May 14th, Theme: National Wildflower Week, Pick a seed packet to discover your discount
June 11th, Theme: National Fruit & Veggie Week, Pick a seed packet to discover your discount
July 9th, Theme: Show Your Patriotism, Wear RED WHITE &BLUE to receive discount
August 13th, Theme: Back to School, Customers who bring school supply donations for Boys & Girls Club receive discount
September 10th, Theme: Show Your Team Spirit, wear Team Spirit shirt/gear to receive discount
October 8th, Theme: Breast Cancer Awareness Month, wear PINK to receive discount
November 12th, Theme: Fill the Food Pantry, Customers who bring canned goods/food pantry donations for Helping Hands receive discount
December 10th, Theme: Christmas Sweater Month, wear you Ugly Christmas Sweater to receive discount
