ROCKWALL,TX. (June 30, 2015) 2015-16 Fulton Strutter Captain, Reese Brown, sophomore, attended American/Dance and Drill Team Officer Camp at the Hilton Dallas Lakefront Hotel June7-10, 2015.
Reese is the single officer for the Fulton Strutters for the upcoming year. At camp, Reese attended seminars on leadership and learned several dances to prepare for the year. Reese performed a home routine, the camp dance, and a self-choreographed dance for the creative choreography portion. These dances are meant to teach the girls how to learn choreography quickly, adapt it, and create their own for their team.
Reese was evaluated on Day 1 and Day 3 of camp along with 39 schools from Texas and Louisiana. Reese received All-American Honorable Mention, with the invitation to perform at an SMU or Mavericks game, at the Citrus Bowl, or march in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Reese also received the Outstanding Performer Award, the Gussie Nell Davis Officer of the Day Award, Spirit of ADTS Award, and the Super Diamond Sweepstakes Award.
