As always, the City of Heath invites veterans from any branch of the U.S. Military to ride in the parade on the Veterans Float.

“We have this float so that our community can honor our veterans for their extraordinary gift of service,” said Heath Mayor Lorne Liechty. “It is because of them and the many other brave men and women who have served in our Armed Forces that we are able to celebrate independence.”

Active members of the military are also encouraged to ride or march in the parade. For more information, please contact Norma Duncan at 972-771-6228 or visit www.heathtx.com.
