(ROCKWALL, TX – June 24, 2015) June is puppy month at Patriot PAWS Service Dogs. Patriot PAWS is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in Rockwall, TX that trains service dogs for disabled American Veterans at no cost to the veteran.
Patriot PAWS has just received 12 future service dogs. The puppies range in age from 8 weeks to 3 months and will be at the Patriot PAWS training facility throughout the month of June.
Terri Stringer, Assistant Executive Assistant at Patriot PAWS explained, “Most of the puppies were donated to Patriot PAWS to be trained as service dogs for disabled American veterans. We have doodles (golden retriever standard poodle mixes), white Labradors, yellow Labradors and one silver Labrador. They will stay at Patriot PAWS for a month before embarking on their training beginning in July. We would love to have folks come out to meet our puppies and find out what the future holds for them with Patriot PAWS.”
Patriot PAWS office hours are 8 to 5 Monday – Friday. If anyone is interested in become a volunteer or puppy raiser for the organization.
