Storm-damaged vessel repaired, sailing again
(ROCKWALL, TX – June 16, 2015) Sail With Scott’s Harbor Lights had broken away from the dock during a storm overnight on May 27. After crashing and damaging the Rockwall city dock, Harbor Lights ended up lodged onto the rocks on shore on Lake Ray Hubbard.
The crew has been working nonstop the past two weeks to repair the damage, and they just announced that Harbor Lights is sailing again.
And even though an ill wind that blows is never good for a sailor, great things have taken place with these repairs and updates. Harbor Lights now features updated lasers and light shows, brand new engines, a beautiful paint job, and new tables and benches on the upper deck. The latter were ordered prior to the wreck, but the timing worked in Harbor Light’s favor.
The community is invited to come out and see the updates. Cruises can be booked for a unique date night, corporate event or wedding on Lake Ray Hubbard.
